Nissan required a paddock presence that appealed to both race fans and VIP guests. The VIP design was tested at the World Endurance Championship event at Silverstone, before an upgrade was produced for Le Mans later in the year. This upgrade featured a welcoming open terrace where fans could access an oxygen bar, juice bar, 24 hour live DJ, massage area and full GT Academy race simulator. The design also featured a two-storey structure with roof top viewing gallery and external slide shoot with live Tag Heuer timing for a Top Gear style fastest slide competition. Either side of the outside covered terrace there were pods for media and Nismo TV created from bespoke industrial shipping crates with full-length folding doors, air conditioning and connectivity for live broadcasting of the event and onboard camera footage. The LMP1 show-car took centre stage.
Internally to the rear of the structure, full hospitality was provided for the team and Nissan Nismo VIP guests. These areas were air conditioned with soft seating live TV and timing screens.
